Founded in Tarkwa in 2018, Germatek has grown from a supply business into a main contractor for electrical, civil and fabrication projects.
Our story
Germatek Company Limited is an electrical engineering company located in Tarkwa, in the Western Region of Ghana. Our people bring over ten years' experience in electrical product installation, testing and commissioning, preventive maintenance, automation and energy-saving solutions, as well as mechanical engineering and the supply of a wide range of general goods.
We began in October 2018 as a company mainly dealing in supplies. In a short time we have taken on many challenging assignments and built up skills, know-how and experience in the supply of electrical construction materials, welding works, electrical installation and maintenance services.
Today Germatek takes responsibility as a main contractor for small to medium-sized projects and provides project management to coordinate specialist trades on industrial and commercial projects. A disciplined communication and follow-through procedure is fast becoming one of our hallmarks — keeping our clients' objectives at the top of every plan.

Our key personnel collectively bring more than ten years of industry experience across business development, procurement, project management and administration. The management team gathers client feedback, reviews work processes and shares lessons and policy with all staff at regular meetings.

Managing Director
Leads the management team, manages client relationships and programmes, generates new business, and recruits and develops staff.
Procurement / Marketing
Runs procurement policy, converts requisitions to purchase orders, prepares competitive specifications and grows sales outlets.
Project Manager
Delivers projects on time, on budget and to quality — managing scope, schedules, teams and progress reporting.
Finance & Administration
Plans and monitors budgets, financial ledgers, forecasts, personnel management and general business administration.
Electrical Engineer
Manages site operations with the Safety Officer, supervises crews, reviews work for accuracy and prepares site budgets.
Environmental Health & Safety
Maintains the safety management policy and project EH&S plans, works with client EH&S officers and investigates every incident.
Certifications & licences
Germatek holds the registrations, classifications and permits required for electrical, civil and mine-support work.
